How this differs from a general fitness app

This page compares product types: a personal protocol, against a course library that is the same for everyone. It does not name or disparage any product.

A course library sends the same sessions to many people. Mylus builds a protocol from your height, weight, injury history, training age, goals, and available equipment.

Many products use streaks and badges to keep the app open. Mylus does record training, but it records completion, effort, and pain so the next week can change — not so a streak stays alive.

Mylus has no leaderboard and no sharing wall. The record stays in your profile.

A general product usually puts safety in a disclaimer. Mylus filters exercises against your injury history before generation. That is still not medical advice, and it still does not replace a doctor.

The coach can explain why an exercise is in the plan. This release will not swap that exercise because of a chat message.
